In a large pot over high heat, add olive oil. When the pot and the oil are hot, turn the heat down to medium.

Add the diced onion, carrots, and celery. Sauté for about 5 minutes or until the vegetables begin to soften.

Add ground turkey, garlic, Italian  seasoning, salt and pepper, break up the turkey while  it cooks, add tomato paste and stir well.

Pour  chicken broth. Add crushed tomatoes and potatoes. Bring it to a boil.

Add green peas and stir well. Cook for 1  more minute. Taste and add any extra seasonings. Serve  topped with fresh parsley.
